I am appalled at this value: Amitabh Bachchan
Actor Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the Bollywood film ‘Punk’ is getting a lot of public attention and his acting in the film is appreciated.
But Amitabh Bachchan says he is appalled by such appreciation.
He said: ‘I was praised for this movie by many people who never even spoke to me. So much appreciation makes me nervous. ‘
But recently, retired Supreme Court judge Markande Katju has not only praised him, but he has also criticized his admirer.
Justice Katju wrote in one of his posts three days ago: ‘Amitabh Bachchan’s mind is empty and since most of the media is tired of praising him, I feel like his mind is empty too.’
In response, Amitabh Bachchan responded to reporters ‘question by saying:’ My mind is empty. They are right, my mind is open (ended). ‘
He added: “We were educated in the same school, they were my senior, there is no enmity between us.”
In this film, Amitabh plays the role of a lawyer who sharply exposes legal flaws in bringing justice to rap victims.
Regarding the promotion of the film, Amitabh Bachchan said: ‘People do publicity before the film is released, but I thought it would be best to get everyone after the film release.’
The actor who received the title of ‘Young Young Man’ of his time said: We did not think about his success in making the film. We wanted to make a movie that has a very strong theme.
Regarding the role of the film, he said: ‘There is a problem playing each character but the purpose must be clear for the character to land well on screen. And in that case justice can be done with character. ‘
Directed by Anirudh Chaudhary, ‘Punk’ has grossed Rs 21.5 million at the box office in three days. Shujaat Sarkar is the co-director of the film.
Those associated with the film are hopeful that Amitabh Bachchan’s film may be included in the Rs 100 crore club.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Punk’, there are also Tapesi Pins, Angad Bedi, Piyush Mishra and Dharthaman Chatterjee.
